Lil boy, nine years old,
wants a part, in the talent show.
Before he goes up, he starts to cry.
He's afraid his act won't get him by.
His daddy comes over, says dry 'em tears.
Son I gotta lesson you oughta hear.
You gotta man up,
break down.
Show 'em you want it,
and take a bow.
If it's a no, let it go,

That same ol' boy, he's all grow'ed up.
He came home, his girlfriend went and broke 'em up.
